ACTAcademy Stage School

An exciting new introductory performing arts class at ACTAcademy, that results in our gorgeous end-of-term showcase and your child's own individual progress report.

This programme is designed specifically for those children who are transitioning to Reception classes in September. This class is a super, playful introduction to all areas of the Performing Arts. Your child will learn all the foundations of dance technique, engage in speech and drama to support phonics development and even develop their mathematics skills through our innovative introductory dance elements! The learning that happens really is magical, and participation in the arts hugely helps well-being too, at such an important time.

Harnessing the magic of the creative and performing arts, these nurturing and fun classes support your child to explore their imagination, whilst building vital self-confidence, clear communication skills and creativity. This class blends all the performing arts - including drama, singing, music and dance - to ensure your child has a well-rounded introduction to all of these exciting skills.

Our Introductory Performing arts classes, are held in our inspiring Ofsted registered premises, the curriculum is designed by qualified teachers, with expertise in both early years education and performing arts. The workshops run on a Saturday morning 10:00am-11:00am.

They are the perfect introduction to the full stage school experience that leads to performances and shows. You will have priority to book the next term, if you join here, or you can progress to the full Stage 1 ACTAcademy Stage School Workshops, which run on:

Wednesdays 4-6pm

Thursdays 4-6pm

or

Saturdays 9.30-10.30pm

Our Safeguarding & Child Protection Policies are available in reception and a Paediatric First Aider is on site at all times, for your full peace of mind.
